01 Purpose
With OnMe’s user side, we knew we needed to create a restaurant side UI. Doing this allowed the two apps to communicate, receive and send out the necessary information to “complete” the users order.
Restaurant employees are easily able to add or edit menu items and the seat map. Additions and edits are automatically updated on the user side. Without this side of the interface, there was no efficient and user friendly way for restaurants to receive, and complete orders from users.
Due to the short timeframe of this project, this interface was designed and prototyped fairly quickly prior to the development phase. Only one prototype was completed and tested. However, OnMe’s design team is eager to make the necessary changes in the future to create the best user experience.
