01 Problem.
While doing research for an app idea, we found that one of Vancouver’s most prominent problems is that it is hard to meet new people in the city. In fact, Vancouver has been granted the title of being a “Lonely City”.
This is because Vancouver’s has a strong individualistic culture, which makes it difficult to create new friends or connections especially if you are a new resident.
Research shows that people currently living in or have moved to Vancouver have a difficult time trying to find “the one”. Dating apps like Hinge, Bumble and Tinder are all the rage, but it requires the user to choose specific people to talk with the person of interest before considering meeting up. This often leaves the user disappointed and often dislikes their experience with the app.
With that being considered, we thought, why not make that connection immediate?
